University of Wollongong Year 12 Future Me Program
Year 12 2024 program is now complete. The Year 12 2025 program will be run in term 4 – watch this space!
The 2024 program saw 24 students across the Western Riverina complete six weeks of sessions held at CUC Griffith site. Over 90% of students indicated they submitted early entry applications to a number of universities.
The University of Wollongong (UOW) Year 12 Future Me Program is designed to provide you with the support you need to get the most out of your Year 12 studies and post-school decision making.
Over six weeks, you will receive on-campus and online skill development to assist you in your studies, preparations, as well as engaging in peer learning with trained university student mentors.
Each weekly session of the Year 12 Future Me will be 90 minutes and will include:
- UOW-staff led sessions that will focus on introducing important concepts and skills
- Mentor led peer assisted group sessions that will allow you to solidify skill development, take part in interactive activities and benefit from the experience and knowledge of your mentors through discussion
- Completing a range of short online engaging or skill-based modules (In your mentoring sessions) which will be checked throughout the program
What’s In It For Me?
